Tutorials were started in Cape Coast ,Ghana by my son, Issac. He totally funded the project, organized and implemented everything.( the community is called Instin)
He hired two teachers, a woman for the preschoolers and a man for grades 1-6. The children are tested on Fridays to chart their improvements.
Initally they had a problem with furniture and all they had was one desk and two benches. I personally donated funds in January 2009 and they were able to purchase desks and benchs from the local carpenter. Now the children will not have to sit on the floor.
The classrooms are informal and have clothes hanging in them because it is the family home of Isaac. The chalk boards were boards that were "found". (Mother Teresa/ Rev. Martin style). After my donation, they have a new dry/erase board that they can write on with markers.
I am very proud of their efforts. I will do my best to help them to succeed in the project. Would you please help me help our brothers and sisters in Africa now? They need our helping hand so please donate to this worthy cause.

Issac, Shadrack (his son , top left on page) and the children in the HYBASIA EXTRA CLASSES in CAPE COAST, GHANA.
He had a New Years' day party for the children where they enjoyed dishes of rice and pepper soup(made by his grandmother). He stated that they really danced and celebrated, after they had eaten their meal. They love going to class and learning new things.
Peace and Blessings to them all.

Education is the Key to a better life.
We are our Brothers' and Sisters' keepers.
Issac has the message. He reminds me of what I read about Rev. Martin (N)wadiei and Mother Teresa.
