Hygiene classes were taught in Isselu-Uke at the Rev. Martin Memorial Mixed Primary and Secondary School in November of 2007. The children's gazes were enjoyable as it was the first time some of them had the opportunity to receive a toothbrush and toothpaste. These children are from families that have limited resources therefore we took it upon ourselves to provide this essential training. It was also the first time some of them had washed their hands with soap and water which was the reason for the class.
